What this site collects

The website collects two kinds of information: what you deliberately send us, and anonymous measurements of how pages perform.

Information you send us

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, an optional phone number, which of the three journeys you selected, whether you asked for a consultation, and your message. We use it to reply to you and to work out how to help. Nothing else.

Analytics

We measure page views, referrers, approximate location at country level, device type, and page speed. These measurements are aggregated. We do not build a profile of you and we do not use this information for advertising.

Technical logs

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs, including IP addresses, to run the service and to detect abuse. We also use your IP address briefly, in memory, to rate limit the contact form so it cannot be flooded.

What this site does not collect

• We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
• We do not run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.
• We do not ask for health information through this website. Please do not send medical details through the contact form. Tell your instructor in person or by direct email instead.
• We do not take payment on this website. Purchases and bookings happen inside WellnessLiving, which handles that data under its own policy.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers, and only for the purposes below.

WellnessLiving

Our booking and membership system. When you book a class, buy a membership, or sign in, you are dealing with WellnessLiving directly, and their privacy policy governs that information. Parts of their booking system appear inside pages on this website.

Vercel

Hosts the website and provides the anonymous page speed and traffic measurements described above.

Google Analytics

Used only where enabled, to understand which pages are useful. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

Resend

Delivers contact form submissions to the studio as email. Your message passes through Resend on the way to us.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Checks that contact form submissions come from a person rather than a bot. It is designed to work without tracking you across sites.

Cookies

The website itself does not set advertising or profiling cookies. Analytics may set a first-party cookie to avoid counting the same visit twice.

The WellnessLiving booking system relies on its own cookies to keep you signed in and to hold a booking while you complete it. If your browser blocks cookies from other sites, which Safari and Firefox do by default, the booking panel on this site may not open. When that happens we show you a link that opens the same booking page in its own tab, where it works normally.

How long we keep things

Contact form messages are kept in the studio's email for as long as they are useful to the conversation, and then deleted. Analytics measurements are aggregated and retained by the analytics provider under its own retention schedule. Rate limiting data is held in memory for ten minutes and is never written to disk.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email studio@lifestread.com and we will action it. You do not need to give a reason.

You can also block analytics at the browser level, and the site will work exactly the same.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children through it. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
